You know you're leaving for China tomorrow when....

1. You've said, "this is the LAST time I am going to TARGET!!!" 3 times.
2. It's 1:30 in the afternoon and you look at your children and say, "did ya'll eat lunch?" and your
6 year old responds, "yes, I made pb&j and chips for us," and you say, "oh. thanks."
3. You go by Sonic for just one more DC because there is NO Sonic in China :(
4. Sleeping and eating seem very unnecessary and you think "Lord if I could just have 34 hours in the day,
I could get so much more done!!"
5. You can't decide whether to cry or smile. Sometimes you find yourself doing both at the same time.

We're packed. We're ready. We're already exhausted. This mama feels 41 weeks pregnant. It's time to get the show on the road!!!

Thanks for praying for us...I know many of you are serious when you say you will! Please continue to pray for:
safe flights. annalyse on the airplane. no sickness. asher's heart. that he would bond with BOTH of us. easy and calm transition. safety in China. the girls back home with my mom. no computer issues. rest. no tummy issues.

Thank you to our friends and family that have loved and prayed for us all this time...we need it now more than ever!! We will be getting Asher around 2 or 3 am EST Monday morning. So by around 6am there should be pics up (or earlier for those of you who have said you're "camping out" to see him, *cough* Diane.:)

Next post: CHINA!!!!

HERE WE GO HERE WE GO HERE WE GO!!!

“For he will command his angels concerning you to
guard you in all your ways.”
                      Psalm 91:11

  7. My Sweet Emily and Jay,
I just want you to know how VERY MUCH I love you and will be praying without ceasing for you as you travel for our new baby. I will love and treasure my time with my three little ones while you are gone. May God give you peace about leaving and know that He will be completing the work He started ... we are all part of His plan to bring Asher home. I am humbled to be a part of His plan for Asher and our family.
The girls will be safe, warm, loved, ALOT spoiled, and protected while you are gone. My love and heart will be with you every minute of every day. Hugs and more hugs...Mom
