TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

***CLICK THE PICTURES TO SEE THEM BIGGER***
Well, it's 6:45 am China time and the day is finally here!! 11 months of prayer and paperwork will come together about 2pm at the Guangzhou Center for Adoption Affairs. We are headed over with 6 other families and word is there are FIFTY kiddos meeting their parents today there at some point!! 50! Praise the LORD!

My heart hurts for what Asher is about to go through. For the children, this isn't exactly a joyous day. We are praying for a smooth and gentle transition for him and that he would supernaturally know we are safe and he is ours. Much spiritual warfare going on today, so prayers appreciated.

Annalyse and Jay were able to sleep about 10 hours straight. I got about 6 so I'll take it. I think mine is nerves, not jetlag!

*my 4 year old eating room service in a 5star hotel...this kid is livin in UP!*

Yesterday we were able to take Annalyse to a massive (Central Park, NYC-type) park that is right across the street. She got a lot of attention and several people stopped us to speak to her! No doubt many of the people here have only seen blond hair on tv! They all comment on how beautiful she is (of course we agree!). We decided that when we return there with our asian boy, we'll REALLY get some stares!! We plan on going back several times, there's a lot to see and do.

We're about to head down to breakfast. Oh, the breakfast buffet!!!!! I seriously went through withdraws the last time when we came home and we had no breakfast buffet!! I'll take my camera and get some pics...it's ah.maz.ing.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.....it's GOTCHA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(and yes, I can hear my heart beating in my ears! :)

  5. Praying that God just surounds Asher with reasurrance & peace. I know He can do this, because He did it for our Madeline. She remembered us from our first trip, not because we spent so much quality time with her (barely any really), but because God burned us into her heart, just as he burned her into our hearts. God is faithful...everytime!!!

I pray for you now, and your entire family, that God will grant you His peace that passes all understanding. I pray that each one of you will feel the love of God surrounding you, especially Asher. Can't wait to see the pics.
